we have changes ahead this week. after the fog this morning, sun later and rain in the bay area tuesday. once the rain begins it will not be going away any time soon. i will tell you about that in a bit. but first, the moisture that poured over the pacific northwest is sagging over the bay area in the form of a weak little tail end of a trough that came through central california. the southeastern pacific is staying planted and this low will move closer to the shoreline. when it does it will dig out a deep trough over the coast and things will get wet on wednesday. enjoy sunday. we will start out with fog. then sunshine later in day. in terms of the rest of california, it is the season for the fog in the central valley. if you have never driven in the central valley in january, i continue recommend it. it is the most treacherous weather around, and dense fog there from sacramento south this morning. from the bay area, not bad at all. 66 fremont. 69 in livermore. 6 for mountain view and nice in pacifica, 64 degrees. 6

this has people in san jose shaken up because the victim a 22-year-old man who was shot and killed on friday was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. he was in his car in the 7- eleven parking lot when those two men in the middle of the violent rampage decided they needed a different car, made him their target and then killed 22-year-old rory parkpettiford, who is from san jose, while trying to carjack him. police did make one arrest. here's a picture of 26-year-old jonathan wilbanks. he was taken into custody after he crashed his car during a police chase. the second suspect took off on foot and is still out there believed to be armed. here's a map that shows you the path of their crime spree. it lasted about two hours with the men going around town holding you businesses at gunpoint. caesar's on story road, gas station on east capital, jack- in-the-box on curtner and spa or bird avenue. they came to the 7-eleven to try and steal a car and killed the 22-year-old. police then ended up in a wild chase and shootout with the suspects after spotting their car on the freeway. >> ch
